Can a trade show be sustainable and show solidarity? Yes, if the partners and organizers join forces to reduce waste and support the community.
This September, ONBEAUTY BY COSMOPROF, SANA and COSMOFARMA, together with CAMST GROUP (a leader in the provision of food services for communities, businesses, and fairs), will join forces and support two important social projects, with the collaboration of the Antoniano di Bologna and WAMI.
The Antoniano is an institution that provides support for the poor in Bologna and throughout Italy on a daily basis. Solidarity, art, culture, and music are the keywords that accompany the Antoniano in every project. The institution offers numerous activities to help those in need, including a kitchen that welcomes over 160 people every day, offering a warm meal and a safe shelter.
WAMI is a business with a social mission and focuses exclusively on mineral water.
The WAMI brand uses recycled aluminum cans, glass and plastic and recycles its own plastic bottles, fighting water waste and the inappropriate use of plastic. Every bottle of WAMI water contributes to one of many water projects, such as building aqueducts in villages to guarantee access to water for those in need.
By joining forces with these locally active institutions, the three trade shows will be able to make a real difference for people in need, fighting food waste and the inappropriate use of manufacturing resources.
After the events end, OnBeauty, Sana, Cosmofarma and CAMST GROUP will donate unsold food from the fairground’s food courts to the Antoniano, to be delivered to the kitchen on Monday. They will also help finance a WAMI social water project in one of the areas most affected by drought and water scarcity by selling WAMI water through the food courts in the fairground area.
This September, business and sustainability go hand in hand. What are you waiting for? Register and visit OnBeauty by Cosmoprof: the fair that's good for your business and for the community.
